Mother’s Day is finally here, which means that millions of mothers all over the country are about to get cards from their kids. While these cards are often touching, they can also sometimes be hilarious. That’s why we’ve compiled some of the funniest Mother’s Day cards that we could find from kids who can’t help but say exactly what’s on their minds!

This family has a Mother’s Day tradition of having breakfast in bed. That is, except when Melanie can’t make pancakes, or when they have eggs but no bacon.

In this card, a little boy plays both good cop and bad cop. He sweetly writes, “Thank you for doing everything for me,” but he follows with the demand, “But why don’t you let me have dessert?”

He then says another compliment before concluding with, “I like you because you care for me.”

A teacher revealed one of her students’ Mother’s Day cards along with the caption, “An ungrateful child’s version of a sweet Mother’s Day card. Oh wait, he did say thank you…”

In the card, the student wrote, “I hope you do better things for me.” We can only imagine what his mother thought when she read that!

When a teacher saw this card from a student, she contacted her parents in concern. Despite what you’re thinking, the drawing actually depicts her mother working at Home Depot.

“I told my daughter how hectic it was last week before the blizzard hit,” the mother said. “I told her we sold out of every single shovel we had, and then I found one more…and that several people were fighting over who would get it.”

This little boy is something of a conspiracy theorist.

“Mom, I love you so much I really love you no matter what. You are a UFO or what,” he writes, later adding, “I will be your son no matter what. And mama when I ask for laptop you have to trust me. Ok.”

I don’t even know what to think about this!

Finally, this boy is thankful to his mother simply for keeping him alive. It doesn’t get much better than that!
