“What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined for life … to strengthen each other … to be at one with each other in silent unspeakable memories?” George Eliot

It’s always good to open our hearts to love again after our hearts have been broken. After putting so much time and energy into our relationships, it’s devastating and traumatic when we are left heartbroken.

The typical reaction to heartbreak is to beat ourselves up for falling in love with the other person, and while regret is natural, it is not helpful at all. You should never beat yourself up when you have given your relationship your best, and you should instead accept the fact that it just was not meant to be in the first place.

It will be hard to believe in the moment, but after heartbreak, your true love really is right around the corner. As you are healing from the heartbreak, you should take some time for yourself and focus on having fun. Get out there and be social as you slowly learn to open yourself up to others again.

After some time socializing, you might end up finding your true love when you least expect it. Your true love will always respect your feelings, and they will rearrange their entire day just to spend time with you. They’ll invest as much energy into you as you do into them, and they will encourage you in everything you do in life.

It’s okay to make mistakes in love. While it may not seem like it at the time, you will learn from these mistakes and they will help you find the true love who you are meant to be with. Find out more about how to open your heart after heartbreak in the video below.
