On Monday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child, a baby boy who they named Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Now, just days later, reports are coming in indicating that Harry and Meghan are already thinking about having another baby.
“They definitely want to,” a source said of their plans to have another child. “Meghan has talked about having one more.”
The source also said that Harry and Meghan are enjoying time with their son at Frogmore Cottage, far away from the chaos of Kensington Palace.
“There’s so much space for them to be able to take walks with the baby and their dogs and not feel like they are being preyed upon — that was the big thing,” the source said. “Meghan’s so happy there compared to Kensington Palace. It’s like night and day.”
Harry and Meghan had said when they got engaged at the end of 2017 that they were eager to start a family, and their comfortability with children was shown to the world during Meghan’s pregnancy.
“Harry has wanted this family life for a while, and he’s going to love it,” another source said. “He’s always enthusiastic with children, and now he will have his own little world that he has dreamed of for a long time.”
Harry could not contain his excitement on Monday when he announced that Archie had been born.
“I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this early morning,” he said. “A very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine.”
