Mick Jagger Shows Off Incredible Dance Moves Just One Month After Major Heart Surgery

Just over one month after Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger underwent heart valve surgery, he took to Instagram last week to show off some of his famous dance moves, letting his fans know that he is back to his old self.

Jagger, 75, had to have the minimally invasive surgery at the end of April in New York, forcing the band to reschedule their North American No Filter tour.

“Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment,” the Rolling Stones said in a statement. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”

Fans had been worried about Jagger’s health ever since, which is why the video below came as such a welcome relief to them!

“Bravo the king is back!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “The guy never stops rocking and rolling.”

“He’s back,” a third stated, with a fourth writing, “Come on! This is what legends are made of.”

The surgery involved accessing Jagger’s heart valve through his femoral artery, repairing the heart valve with a catheter. In the process, he avoided having to get an invasive surgery that would have opened up his chest.

The rocker has always taken his health very seriously, as he reportedly maintains a healthy, organic diet and works out for three hours, five to six days a week. Perhaps that’s why the rock star’s recovery was rather quick surprising his fans.
