One of the most difficult challenges that mailmen are met with are dealing with the household pets that they come in contact along their route. Encounters with dogs are usually more common, but a new video is going viral showing that cats can pose a challenge to mail carriers too.

The mailman in this video goes to battle every day with this cat, who clearly believes that she is the ruler of her home. On this particular day, the mailman decided to document their daily battle on camera, and social media users can’t get enough of it!

The video opens with the mailman grabbing his camera as he gets out of his truck and says “I’m ready to do battle.” As he walks up the path to the home, viewers can look in the window and see that the cat is already ready and waiting for him. As soon as the mailman attempts to put the mail through the mail slot, the battle begins, as the cat is not about to let the mailman put anything into her house!

The mailman shows that he has quite a sense of humor as the cat makes it pretty much impossible for him to do his job and deliver the mail. We have no idea what was going through the cat’s mind at the time, but she was definitely determined to make sure that no “evil” mail got into her home!
