Everyone knows that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sunday, but one of their restaurants recently decided to open it’s doors for one special little boy who desperately wanted one of their delicious meals before he went in for surgery.

Just a few months ago, 10 year-old Danny Agee from Temple, Texas was a normal and healthy little boy. Suddenly, he began experiencing headaches, coughing, and vomiting. At first, doctors said he was just battling a bad migraine and sent him home with pain meds, but then he started experiencing seizures.

It was then that doctors diagnosed Danny with a brain tumor measuring five centimeters.

The tumor had caused a buildup of pressure in his brain, which was pressed against his skull as a result. This meant that he needed surgery to relieve the pressure and drain fluid from his brain.

On Easter Sunday, the Agee family was in the hospital preparing for Danny’s surgery the next day. Danny’s parents told him that he could have anything he wanted to eat for his last meal before surgery, but when he asked for Chick-fil-A, they reminded him that the restaurant was closed.

When Danny’s nurse Jenny Pearce overheard his request, however, she was determined to make it happen. She called up her local Chick-fil-A herself, and sure enough, they agreed to have some chicken nuggets delivered by the Chick-fil-A cow!

Danny was overcome with emotion as soon as the cow walked into his room, as he could not believe what was happening!

After all that Danny has been through, chicken nuggets were the least that he deserved, and we applaud Chick-fil-A for making this happen. We are happy to tell you that Danny not only made it through surgery, doctors made several adjustments to ensure that he would not need this kind of operation again!

God bless Chick-fil-A for making this little boy’s Easter wish come true! Watch his reaction for yourself in the video below.
