“Dog The Bounty Hunter” star Beth Chapman has been battling Stage IV lung cancer for the past few months. Now, she is getting ready to open up about her cancer battle as a public speaker for the first time on Mother’s Day at The Source Church in Bradenton, Florida.

Beth, who will be making this appearance with her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman, is aiming to share “a message of hope, faith and of a Mother’s highest place of honor” during her talk.

“Fighting cancer is the toughest battle I’ve ever been in,” Beth said. “But my faith in God and the love of my family is helping me through. I am so honored to have been asked by Pastors Ralph and Joanne to share my story with their congregation, especially on Mother’s Day.”

Fans are all the more excited about Beth’s speaking engagement given the fact that it comes days after a nasty death hoax about her made the rounds on the internet. Beth responded to the hoax with her characteristic good humor, writing on Facebook “The rumors of my death have been highly exaggerated!” along with four laughing emojis.

Duane’s social media team also debunked the rumor, writing on Facebook, “There is a rumor around online that Beth [has] passed away. This is not true and Beth and Dog and Posse are hard at work catching fugitives and filming their new show, ‘Dog’s Most Wanted’ coming later this year to WGN America. Posted by Team Dog.”

Even though Beth is fighting for her life, she has managed to also stay busy at work, as she is filming a new reality television show with her husband for WGN America called “Dog’s Most Wanted.” The show will chronicle Beth’s cancer battle as well as her continued participation in her family’s bounty hunting business.

Please keep Beth in your thoughts and prayers!
