If you are a pet owner, you probably have conversations with your animals on a daily basis.

We talk to our dogs and cats as if we expect them to talk back to us, even sometimes using a voice that we made up to do so.

We should all realize that animals talk to each other as well, and in the video below, you’ll see some baby sloths engage in a conversation with each other.

Sloths are found in the tropical rain forests of Central and South America, and they are known for moving very slow.

Experts with National Geographic say that their slow movement may be a strategy to ensure that their predators do not notice them.

In fact, they sometimes move so slowly that algae grows on their bodies, which allows them to camouflage even better.

The video below was shot at a sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica, and staffers there want the world to know how important sloths are to the environment.

Sloths who are abandoned in the wild are brought to the sanctuary and taken care of there for the rest of their lives. They are also just plain adorable, and the world can’t get enough of them!
