Janet is an older woman who decided that she wanted to get a makeover for two reasons. First, she had just gotten over some health problems and thought it was time for a change. The other reason was that her son was about to get married, and she wanted to look her best at his wedding.

When she decided to get a makeover, Janet wanted to get one from the best of the best, which is why she flew from Utah to Minnesota to get a makeover from The Makeover Guy himself, Christopher Hopkins.

Janet told Christopher that her husband had gotten sick a few years ago, and she took care of him until he passed away. After his death, Janet fell into a deep depression, but she has since bounced back from that.

“I literally have never done anything like this by myself, or for myself…I just thought if I don’t do it now, I never will,” she said. “And there’s no promise of tomorrow.” When Christopher asked what kind of look she wanted, she replied, “Just to be me, but better.”

Janet put total trust in Christopher, and when he revealed her new look once he was done, she absolutely loved it!

“It looks like me, not somebody else. It’s not so overdone,” she said as she looked at herself afterwards. “I haven’t laughed like that in years.”

When asked what her husband would have thought of her makeover, Janet replied, “You did it, girl, I’m so proud of you.”
