Easter is right around the corner, and some NICU nurses in Texas just got in the Easter spirit in an adorably sweet way.

Nurses at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas have spent the past few months knitting cute crocheted caps for preemies. The nurses are part of a group called Hooked On Preemies, and they began their efforts back in December when they launched their Christmas caps project.

The nurses made sure that the preemies’ first Christmas was one that their families would always remember by making dozens of Christmas hats for them. Photos of the preemies in their hats quickly went viral, and they were so successful that the nurses decided to do the same thing when Easter rolled around.

“Hey ya’ll! My name is Jake,” the above photo is captioned. “The time for hibernating is over. Spring is here!”

Every family who has a preemie in the NICU has received a photo of the baby wearing hand-crocheted bunny ears. The nurses want to ensure that the families will have a keepsake from their baby’s first Easter that they can treasure for years to come.

“Hey, I’m Ava,” the above image is captioned. “Would someone wake me up when the Bunny is here?!? Someone said I can sleep for another week!”

Each day until Easter, the hospital is sharing a photo of one baby on their Facebook page. Social media users everywhere can’t get enough of the adorable photos!

“Hi everyone, I’m Ka’Mari,” the hospital posted alongside this image. “I’ve got my palms up for Palm Sunday! One week til the Bunny shows up!!!”

“Hi! I’m Logan,” reads the caption of the photo below. “Guess what?! Some bunny loves you!!”

“I’m Edward,” the photo below is captioned. “Hippity Hoppity, Easter is on the way! Listen, I may have floppy ears, but there are no bad hare days around here.”

Happy Easter, folks!
