Prince Louis turned 1 years-old on Tuesday, and to celebrate the occasion, the royal family released new photos of the adorable little boy that had not been seen by the public before.
One night before Louis’ birthday, Kensington Palace took to Twitter to post the photos, explaining that they were taken by the baby’s mother, Kate Middleton.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow,” the palace said. “The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”

Louis is the third child of Kate and Prince William, who are also parents to 5 year-old Prince George and 3 year-old Princess Charlotte. Social media users could not get enough of the cute new photos of little Prince Louis!
“William and Catherine, thank you so much for releasing these beautiful pictures of your adorable baby boy. Louis is so sweet and handsome. Wishing him an amazing Happy 1st Birthday,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “So adorable, we love you Louis.”
Even Louis’ uncle and aunt Prince Harry and Meghan Markle commented on the photos from their official Sussex Instagram account, writing, “Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us.”
We would also like to wish Louis a very happy birthday, and many more to come! Hopefully the little prince had a great birthday full of fun with his family!
