Four years after a painful divorce from her husband of 26 years, country music star Reba McEntire says she has found love again.
McEntire said nobody was more surprised than her when she fell in love with Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo, a 70-year-old widower who she describes as a “soft-spoken retired oil geologist.”
“I was not looking,” she said. “Not even interested.”

McEntire and Lasuzzo met back in 2017 when they were each on vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
McEntire and Lasuzzo went on their first date a few months after they met, and they have been going strong ever since!
“We just had the best time,” McEntire explained. “And so two nights later, we all went out to dinner, and he bought my dinner.”
“We’re totally in love — absolutely. I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!” she continued. “The old heart’s still beating.”
McEntire has been open with her fans about how tough her divorce from her longtime manager Narvel Blackstock.
“The divorce was not my idea,” she said one year after her divorce. “I didn’t want it in any shape, form or fashion. So it was really hard to make the adjustment.”
