Josh Groban is known for being one of the best singers and songwriters of our time. Earlier this month, he performed the classic song “Bridge Over Troubled Water” at Madison Square Garden, and the video of his amazing performance is now going viral.

“Bridge Over Troubled Water” is a hit song that was written and performed by Simon & Garfunkel in the 1970s, and the meaningful lyrics of the tune still resonate with audiences to this day. The song is incredibly difficult to perform, but Groban was able to do so effortlessly, which just goes to show how talented he is.

Groban began by playing piano and singing the first few lines of the song unaccompanied. After a few minutes, he was joined by backup singers, and the way their voices blended together gave the song a beautiful gospel sound. The audience was completely transfixed by the performance, as they knew something magical was happening right before their eyes.

It’s always fun to see a talented artist like Groban take a song that we all know and give it their own unique spin.  Groban’s performance showcases his unique ability to connect with the song as well as with the audience.

Social media users can’t get enough of this performance!

“We love everything you do, Josh. Your music fills our house often and for many occasions. Thank you for all you do,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “The most beautiful voice in the world! God bless you, always Josh.”

“Josh, you get better every day,” a third user wrote. “You are the best by far because of your steadfast support of where you have come from and what you want to bring to the world. We’ve been with you forever.”
