A 21 month-old girl from Kentucky is inspiring people all over the world after she managed to beat Stage IV cancer.

Molly Hughes of Bowling Green spent 130 nights in the hospital after she was first diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer that develops in immature nerve cells commonly found in and around the adrenal glands . Though she underwent 15 months of torturous cancer treatments, she was a trooper the entire time and could not have been more tough.

“She would just bounce back after every treatment,” said her mother Chelsea Hughes. “I mean it would knock her down for a few days and then she would be playing again.”

Molly’s family and friends stuck with her throughout everything, rallying behind her with the battle cry #MollyStrong.

The entire family was overwhelmed when little Molly miraculously beat the deadly cancer.

“Just like, I fell to the ground after I got off the phone and I just hugged her for like five minutes,” Chelsea said of the moment she learned Molly was cancer free.

Chelsea went on to credit the power of prayer for healing her daughter.

“I believe that’s what helped her get through all this,” Chelsea said. “With all the prayers she’s heard and which I can’t thank everyone enough for.”

Experts say that neuroblastoma is the most common form of cancer within infants less than one-year-old, and half of the children who are diagnosed with it end up dying. Around 800 new cases of neuroblastoma are diagnosed in the United States every year, and symptoms of it include abdominal tenderness and pain, constipation, weakness, irritability, fevers, and anemia or bruising from low blood counts.

God bless little Molly for fighting so hard to beat this disease. Find out more about her journey in the video below!
