A 13 year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after he went above and beyond to buy a car for his mother.

Krystal Preston is a single mother of three kids in Fernley, Nevada who has been struggling to make ends meet after they were forced to start over following an “unfortunate situation.” Krystal has been trying to provide for her children even though she has had no means of transportation: until now.

When 13 year-old William Preston saw how much his mother was struggling, he decided to take action. After watching a series of YouTube videos showing people give cars to their mothers, William was inspired to give his own mom a car. After taking to Facebook, William found that a woman was trying to sell her 1999 Toyota Metro for a cheap price.

William reached out to the woman and asked if she would be willing to trade him the car for his Xbox along with some money he made doing yard work and house cleaning for people around the neighborhood. The woman was not sure about this at first, but William negotiated with her and finally convinced her to agree to his terms.

When William told Krystal that he had gotten her a car, she did not believe him at first. Once he led her outside and she saw the Toyota, she broke down in tears as she realized what he had done for her.

“I lost it, I bawled so bad, I was just like, ‘There’s no way.’ What 13-year-old do you know buys their mom a car? I don’t know any, never heard of any,” Krystal said. “I can’t even express it, like there’s no words that can express my gratitude and how proud I am.”

God bless this little boy and his loving heart!
