If you are a fan of murder mysteries, we have a train ride to report that you are definitely going to want to take!

The Napa Valley Wine Train has been around for thirty years and offers people the chance to tour our nation’s beautiful wine country. With wine tours becoming more and more common in recent years, however, the train has just come up with a new way to drum up business.

The Napa Valley Wine Train has just teamed up with The Murder Mystery Company to offer their passengers the chance to solve a murder mystery as they ride on the train.

“We’re thrilled to partner with a nationally-renowned group like The Murder Mystery Company to continue this unique offering,” stated Scott Goldie, co-CEO of Napa Valley Wine Train. “Our vintage train is the ideal setting for this interactive journey and its early 1920s theme.”

The first Murder Mystery Train tour is set to depart on Saturday April 13, and it is definitely something that you will not want to miss. Passengers will have three hours to come together and solve a 1920s-themed fictional murder mystery that includes mobsters, undercover agents and many more interesting characters.

Passengers will play detective as they are treated to a gourmet meal prepared by Executive Chef Donald Young. As they solve the mystery and enjoy the meal, they will be able to look out the window at the gorgeous wine country scenery.

The Murder Mystery Train will be running on select days from April to November, and each trip leaves the station at 6:30pm before returning at 9:30pm. Tickets begin at $216 per person, and they include food, wine and participation in the murder mystery.
