A Texas mother has found herself becoming a viral sensation after she stunned everyone by delivering a set of sextuplets in just nine minutes!

Thelma Chiaka gave birth to the six children Woman’s Hospital of Texas in Houston on March 15, and the babies included two sets of twin boys and one set of twin girls. Miraculously, all of the babies were born between 4:50 and 4:59am!

“Did you know that the odds of having sextuplets are estimated at one in 4.7 billion?” the hospital wrote on Facebook alongside a photo of Thelma. “We were honored to welcome Thelma Chiaka’s four sons and two daughters early this morning!”

The babies were all born healthy and they each weighed just under two pounds. They remain in stable condition in the NICU, where a medical team is monitoring them closely just to ensure that everything continues to run smoothly. Thelma herself is also doing well after the birth and is said to be in good health.

While Thelma has already named her girls Zina and Zuriel, she is having a difficult time figuring out what to name the four boys.

Giving birth to just one baby is a grueling enough process that can take hours, so we can’t imagine giving birth to six babies so quickly! Thelma must be one tough lady to have been able to make this happen, and we congratulate the mother on her six healthy newborns!
