Sue Beatrice is an artist from New York who uses some very unique tools to create her beautiful artwork.

Through her company All Natural Arts, Sue takes old mechanical parts and transforms them into amazing sculptures of various types of creatures. Though most of us would look at the parts that she uses as junk, she immediately sees them as different kinds of animals and magical creatures.

When she’s not designing her own pieces, Sue works as a commercial  sculptor who has done projects for Disney, Jim Henson, Warner Brothers, Universal, DC Comics, Sony Entertainment and many more. All of her pieces are handcrafted and so intricately designed that her skill is evident to all who look at her pieces.

Sue has also made pieces within a pocket watch frame, using all of the parts of the watch to make them.

In order to do this, Sue takes out the “guts” of a pocket watch (its springs, wheels, and gears) and replaces them with a well-designed mini sculpture using these parts.

Sue has worked as a professional artist for thirty years, and she studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts before joining The Franklin Mint.

“Sue’s artwork covers many specialties from commercial illustration to fine art on canvas but sculpture is her main focus,” her website states. “She is comfortable working in a wide range of mediums including clay, wax, metal, cement, sand, pumpkin, and mixed media and in any scale from micro-miniature to monumental.”

“She is also a world record-breaking pumpkin carver and loves to create whimsical animals and mythological creature within these fruits,” her site continues.

While all of Sue’s pieces are amazing, her watch sculptures truly are one-of-a-kind.

“Sue’s watch sculptures are created with antique parts and combine the beauty of the delicate inner workings of the timepieces with a variety of themes ranging from nature, love, mortality and even scenes from history,” her website says. “Her one-of-a-kind designs are sought after by galleries and collectors all over the world.”
