Oceans are some of the most fascinating and mysterious places on Earth, as there is an entirely different world deep underneath the water.

It’s rare that we get glimpses into certain aspects of this world, which is why the video below is garnering so much attention!

When Captain Dave Anderson set off in his boat along the coast of San Clemente, California, he certainly was not expecting to capture footage that was this magnificent.

As Dave approached Dana Point, all seemed to be going normal in the water. He had no idea that something was lurking beneath the water right by him.

Much to Dave’s surprise, thousands of dolphins were migrating under the water!

Thankfully, Dave was flying his drone at the time, and he was able to capture incredibly rare footage of the dolphins.

“This is the most beautiful and compelling five minute video I have ever put together,” Dave said.

“I learned so much about these whales and dolphins from this drone footage that it feels like I have entered a new dimension! I have not been this excited about a new technology since we built our underwater viewing pods on our whale watching boat. Drones are going to change how we view the animal world. Wow!”

The amazing video has quickly gone viral, being viewed over 14 million times!

“This is why we need citizens with drones. We learn so much about the things around us we never would have seen from down here,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Just incredible. God’s creations of the sea are so beautiful.”

“Videos like this make me so happy. The world is a beautiful place… it’s just a shame the majority of us humans take it for granted,” a third user commented.
