When a couple found a playful little kitten abandoned on the side of the road, they knew they had to adopt him. They were a little apprehensive when they were bringing him home, however, as they already had tons of rescue dogs and were not sure whether the kitten and canines would get along with one another.

At first, the kitten was very shy around the dogs. Before long, however, a powerful bond formed between the him and the canines!

The kitten quickly started showing off his playful and mischievous nature. He earned the nickname “karate kitten” from the couple because of his hobby of using his paws to battle with the larger dogs. Though the kitten is vastly outnumbered by dogs who are much bigger than him, he has no fear and has proven himself to be quite a little warrior.

Named Rilu, the tortoiseshell kitten has since become part of the dog’s pack after proving to them that he demands respect. Now, he is very fond of the dogs, and they love him right back!

Rilu is a social kitten who loves making friends with other creatures. He has many other cat friends, and he also enjoys making friends with hedgehogs. In addition, Rilu is often treated to dog free grooming appointments from his “dog boutique” friends.

The dogs see Rilu as one of them now, and they even make sure that he is part of all of their dog parties. We’re so glad that this couple has given Rilu and his dog friends the loving forever home that they deserve!
