Olivia Newton-John of Grease fame is currently fighting for her life after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Now, she’s opening up about how her cancer battle is going, and she’s admitting that the last few months have been difficult.

Newton-John has already beaten breast cancer twice, once in 1992 and then again in 2013, but she was informed two years ago that the cancer had returned with a vengeance.

Back in September, Newton-John suffered a setback when she had a cancer-induced pelvis fracture, which forced her to spend her 70th birthday in the hospital.

“There were all these things I was going to do for my birthday,” she said. “But God had other plans.”

“I never say ‘Why me?’ I was like, ‘Wow, I’m in my hospital that I’d dreamt of building for people to have rest and peace and there I was getting the best care,'” she continued. “It was quite magical.”

Newton-John has since gone home and is using holistic treatments like herbs and medicinal cannabis, as well as oral cancer medication prescribed by her oncologist. She was hit with another setback in January, when rumors went viral that she was near death.

“Those things are so stupid. Why not just go, ‘Here I am, and I’m fine!” she said when asked why she posted a smiling denial video confirming that she was alive. “We just nipped it in the bud.”

Though she kept a positive attitude about it, Newton-John admitted that the death rumors hurt her.

“My friends were calling and believing this stuff,” she explained. “I had to say, ‘You really think if it was that bad you wouldn’t know?’”

These days, Newton-John is focusing on the positives in her life.

“I’m feeling good, just getting stronger,” she said.

Please keep Olivia Newton-John in your thoughts and prayers!
