Anyone who has ever owned a dog knows that canines are full of surprises. Just when we think we have them figured out, they throw us curveballs in the most adorable ways possible!

One dog owner learns this the hard way in the video below after he builds a fence that he is sure will keep his puppy in his yard. His puppy Stella has proven herself to be something of an escape artist, and he is sure that this new fence will put a stop to her antics.

It doesn’t take long for Stella to show him just how wrong he is.

After finishing the fence, the man was recording a short video to document his success when Stella suddenly ran up. Without hesitating, the mischievous dog ran right up to the fence that was supposed to keep her in the yard. She then ran to the corner of the fence and effortlessly jumped right over it!

“I literally had JUST built this fence to keep Stella in the yard and was admiring it…” the owner captioned the video.

All the owner could do was shake his head before giving chase to Stella once again. His puppy was just too smart for him this time!

Video of Stella’s move has quickly gone viral, being viewed over five million times.

“On a scale from 1 – 10 this is literally the greatest thing ever,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Stella schooled you! Can we see a part 2 of the second fence you had to build???”
