Tim Whitrow is a winemaker from South Australia who just had a hilarious experience with a koala bear that has quickly gone viral.

Tim recently made a quick stop at his family vineyard to check on the grapes, and in order to make sure his dog could get in and out of the vehicle, he left the car doors open and the air conditioning on. When he returned to his car, Tim was shocked to find what was inside his car.

“As I was moving to another part of the vineyard, I noticed that someone else was also in the car enjoying the air-conditioner,” he recalled on social media.

Much to his surprise, a koala had gotten in his car while he was out in the vineyard. Tim immediately whipped out his phone and started filming as the koala scurried around in the backseat of the car.

“This is what happens when you leave your car doors open in a vineyard; koalas jump into your car,” Tim can be heard saying in the hilarious footage.

Tim ended up jumping in the car with the koala and driving him to a nearby scrubland so that he could release the animal back into the wild. What a nice Aussie!

However, once they reached the scrubland, the koala made it clear that he had no intention of getting out of the car! Instead, the animal headed to the front seat so that he could enjoy the air conditioning even more.

Finally, Tim was able to get the koala to leave his vehicle, but the animal did not make it easy for him. In fact, the koala left quite a few gouge marks on his dashboard.

“It took a fair bit of convincing to get the feisty little fella out,” Tim admitted.

Ah, only in Australia!
