These days, there is so much negativity in the world that it’s easy to forget that there are still good people out there performing acts of kindness for one another. That’s why it’s so refreshing that a story is going viral about a FedEx driver who went above and beyond to help a widow after learning her husband had just died.

Leigh Anne is a mother of three from Nebraska whose husband tragically passed away recently at the age of 42 after a seven month battle with cancer. Since then, Leigh Anne has not only had to navigate being a single mother for the first time, but also had to deal with the frequent snowstorms that have come during this brutal winter.

During a recent snowstorm, Leigh Anne was trying to put air in her tires, but she was having trouble removing the stubborn cap. Desperate, Leigh Anne looked across the street and saw that her usual FedEx driver Brian was parked there. Brian had been delivering packages in their neighborhood for years, so Leigh Anne felt comfortable asking him for help with her tires.

As Brian fixed her car, Leigh Anne caught him up on everything that had happened in recent months, and he was saddened to learn all that she had gone through.

Realizing that Leigh Anne needed his help, Brian went above and beyond by shoveling her porch for her after the snowstorm, completely clearing it of snow. He had no idea that Leigh Anne’s doorbell camera was capturing his good deed, and she posted it to social media to show the world how kind he is.

“Doorbell cameras don’t only catch people stealing packages,” Leigh Anne wrote alongside the video.

It’s so nice to see someone like Brian doing a good deed for someone in need. We need more people like him in the world!
