A video has just resurfaced showing iconic singers Josh Groban and Celine Dion come together to perform an angelic duet of the song “The Prayer.”

The song was written by David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis back in 1999, and it is still amazingly popular to this day because of it’s heavenly lyrics.

“So let the children remember the sun
Let them dance, let them soar
For their lives have begun
Let the children engender the rain
As the river runs through fields
Forever subsiding their pain
Prayer”

The song was originally written in English and Italian so that both Dion and singer Andrea Bocelli could both sing it solo in their respective languages. However, the song also works perfectly as a duet, which is how Dion and Groban performed the song.

Groban first sang this song with Dion when he was just 17 years-old and was standing in for Bocelli at the Grammy Awards. Nine years later, the two reunited again for this performance, and they definitely did not disappoint! Their performance has gone mega-viral, being viewed over 63 million times. Fans of both super stars appreciate their dynamic voices combined to give the song a more ethereal sound.

“Celine Dion’s voice is best suited to sing with Josh Groban’s rich voice. They sound exquisite together, this is truly touching!” one social media user commented, with another adding, “My 10 year old just said, ‘Mom, that must be what Jesus sounded like when He sang.'”

“They are just so magnificent…gives me goosebumps,” a third user wrote.
