“The Voice UK” is a reality television singing competition that has some of the most legendary singers alive today as judges.

The panel of judges includes Olly Murs, Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, and Sir Tom Jones. In a recent episode, Hudson and Jones went head to head in a vocal battle that has to be seen to be believed! Murs got things started by questioning what would happen if Hudson and Jones went against each other in a singing battle, and it didn’t take long for the two of them to start things up.

The two chose to sing the 1960s classic song “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome, and Jones began by asking the show’s pianist what key the song was in. Jones delivered the first few lines of the song and Hudson immediately followed as the audience looked on in excitement.

The duet was pure magic, with Jones and Hudson each bringing their uniquely incredible voices to the table. Hudson brought the house down with her unbelievable vocal range, reminding everyone why she deserves to be a judge on this panel.

Meanwhile, Jones’ distinctive singing style worked with Hudson’s perfectly. Together, they brought this classic song back to life in a way like nobody had heard before.

When they finally finished, the audience went absolutely wild. Check out this one of a kind vocal battle for yourself below!
