A high school student from Georgia has become a viral sensation after she posed for a jubilant photo upon being accepted to 31 colleges.

The college acceptances of high school senior Kayla Willis had been placed up on the wall of the senior hall at her school along with information about the scholarships she had been offered at various universities.

“They’re missing a few but I’m not going to complain or brag because I still have a lot underneath there,” Kayla said.

The teenager posted a photo to Twitter of all her acceptances along with the caption, “i kinda didn’t want to post this, but someone said ‘the whole world needs to know how great you are’ so here we go twitter!” The tweet quickly went viral, being liked over 152,000 times!

Kayla reportedly has a 3.95 GPA and scored 1160 on her SATs. She applied to over 50 colleges, and while she has not heard back from all of them, she has received over $900,000 in scholarships from the universities that have responded. She explained that she had only applied to schools that agreed to waive their application fees, so she ended up only having to pay for postage.

Kayla is very proud of her accomplishments and is hoping her story will inspire other kids to see that hard work really does pay off.

“I wanted to inspire people and show them that you can actually dream big and get to where you want to go,” she said.

Kayla has already accepted an offer to attend Fisk University on a full scholarship, and she plans to major in International Business and Spanish.
