High schools all over the country have dance teams that perform elaborate routines, but few of them can perform with such enthusiasm and accuracy as the Emerald Belles dance team.

The Emerald Belles dance team at Carroll High School have gone viral a few times in the past few years with dance routines that are nothing short of incredible. Now, they are going viral once again with a high-kick routine that is sure to take your breath away!

Though dance troupes like the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes make high-kick routines look effortless, they are extremely difficult to perfect. Performing these routines takes a whole lot of hard work as well as posture, balance, and flexibility. Though the Emerald Belles are still just in high school, they were able to perform one of these routines perfectly at the Showmakers of America Dance Competition!

The Emerald Belles began the routine in a triangle position, with each of them wearing royal blue tights that are decorated with silver sequins. Each row of dancers lies flat on the ground except for one, who lifts her leg to signal the rest of the girls that it is time to change position. Once this happens, the music drops to Daft Punk’s “Around the World,” the perfect tune for this routine!

None of the dancers made any mistakes in the routine, which has since gone viral and been viewed over one million times! To find out what happens in the rest of the performance, you’ll have to check it out in the video below!
