Women over the age of 45 often are so focused on taking care of their families that they forget to take care of themselves. After decades of having the same hairstyle and look, some older women decide that it’s time to make a change.

Christopher Hopkins, aka The Makeover Guy, loves giving these women a new lease on life by changing up the way they look. His favorite part of his job is seeing the sense of confidence the women get back when they look at themselves in the mirror for the first time after their makeovers.

Rita is a mother who had always had the same hairstyle, and she had always been afraid to even cut her hair because she feared that she would end up looking like a mushroom head. In fact, Rita had never even colored her hair before when she went to Christopher’s salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota after finally deciding that it was time to make a change.

Though he decided to color her hair, Christopher decided to forego making drastic changes to Rita’s look in favor of keeping things more subtle, since he thought that this would work best for her.

As Christopher cut Rita’s hair and applied a blow dryer to it, he patiently answered all of her questions about her new hairstyle. He also taught her how to apply makeup in the best way possible, which just goes to show how he goes above and beyond for his clients.

Once Christopher was done with Rita, she absolutely loved her new look! Even her own daughters were stunned when they saw her, as they could not even recognize her!
