Customers at a Petco store in Houston, Texas got the surprise of their lives last week when a couple brought an incredibly large animal inside.

Petco has long had a policy stating that “all leashed pets are welcome,” and Vincent and Shelly Browning decided to put this to the test by bringing in their 2,000 pound African Watusi named Oliver. Much to their surprise, they were greeted with open arms by the Petco staffers, proving that this store really does stand by their policy!

A viral video shows Vincent walking Oliver into the store, which is located in the suburb of Atascocita. The animal, which weighs one ton, can be seen tilting his head so that his long horns can pass through the store’s automatic doors.

As soon as they got inside, employees rushed over to greet the animal as customers recorded the scene on their cellphones.

“The staff members here are always super friendly and courteous to us,” Vincent said afterwards. “We really enjoy coming to this location…our favorite Petco by far!”

“I didn’t think a major chain like that would be open to us bringing him in, but we were just kind of testing the waters on that all-leashed-pets-welcome policy they have,” Shelly added. “It was exciting and just something we really wanted to do anyways. So it just really kind of fit that we got there (and) came at the right time when the right people were there. They welcomed him with open arms, everyone was so excited.”

I don’t know about you, but this makes me love Petco even more! Check out the video for yourself below.
