The judges of “The Voice” hear countless singers audition each season, and it’s rare that they find someone who is so talented that all four of them spin around. That’s why it came as a surprise when Maelyn Jarmon won them all over so much that all four of the judges hit their buzzers for her!

Though Maelyn moved to New York City when she was 17, she was born and raised in Texas. Maelyn already had tons of experience, even once performing at Carnegie Hall where she shared the stage with Tony-nominated Ramin Karimloo, an award-winning Broadway star who has appeared in shows like “The Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Misérables.”

Maelyn, 25, decided to audition with the song “Fields Of Gold,” and as soon as she sang the first note, judge Kelly Clarkson knew she had something special.

Adam Levine bowed his head as he let Maelyn’s voice take over him. Adam was first to turn his chair along with Blake Shelton, and Kelly followed a second later, leaving John Legend as the only judge who had not yet hit his buzzer.

Finally, John hit his buzzer and spun around, meaning Maelyn had turned all four chairs! When she finished singing, the judges gave her the standing ovation that she deserved.

What makes her voice even more impressive is that Maelyn suffered from serious ear infections as a child that left her deaf in her right ear and with only 80 percent of the hearing in her left, but she’s never let this hold her back from pursing her career in singing.

In the end, Maelyn chose John as her coach, and it was clear to everyone that she is a serious contender to win this competition! Check out her audition below.
