Barbara is a 70 year-old woman who feels like she is decades younger on the inside, so she recently decided to get a makeover so that she could reflect this physically.

To make this happen, Barbara enlisted the help of Christopher Hopkins, also known as The Makeover Guy. Women come to Christopher’s salon in Minneapolis, Minnesota from all over the country just to get one of his legendary makeovers. Christopher especially enjoys giving makeovers to women over the age of 45, as he loves giving them a new lease on life by making them look better. He even wrote a book about this called “Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival for Women over 45.”

“I first met Christopher [in my late forties in] 2000. I was looking for a change, [and]… without wanting to sound too overly dramatic, I have to say that first appointment changed my life,” said Ann, one of Christopher’s clients. “I had my hair and makeup done and when I got home my daughter gasped, ‘Mom, you look beautiful!'”

“Christopher had given me a current and sassy look… that flattered my features. I was hooked, and he has continued to cut my hair ever since,” she continued. “Each haircut is an experience to which I look forward with great anticipation.”

When Barbara got to Christopher’s salon, she told him, “You can do whatever you want!” This was exactly what Christopher wanted to hear, and he proceeded to work his magic. By the time he was done, Barbara loved her new look!

“I love the color. I love the movement,” Barbara said. “This is something I would never have chosen for myself and I absolutely love it!”

“I like this new me that emerged,” Barbara said afterwards. “Who I am is now really here and I’m really excited about that.”
