Edmund Rusinek is a World War II veteran who loves going to his local Chick-fil-A restaurant in California. When it came time to celebrate his 92nd birthday on Tuesday, Edmund decided to go to Chick-fil-A to do something huge to give back to his fellow servicemen and their families.
Edmund reportedly celebrated his birthday by paying the $1,500 bill for a group of servicemen and their families to eat at his local Chick-fil-A location because he wanted to let them know “that someone cares.” Afterwards, he explained that this good deed is part of a longstanding tradition that goes back decades.
