A few weeks ago, the east coast got hit with a massive snowstorm that left that part of the country covered in snow. Just before the storm hit, a weatherman found himself becoming a viral sensation after he predicted just how much wine people would need to survive the storm.

WPVI meteorologist Chris Sowers tweeted an image that included how many wine bottles each area would need to get through the snow. It did not take long for the image to go viral, as social media users found it to be hilarious!

Chris’s graphic said that people in Allentown and the Pocono Mountain area would need a staggering 25 bottles of wine to get through the storm. Meanwhile, the towns of Lancaster, Philadelphia, Trenton, and Wilmington were not going to get as much snow, so Chris said they would just need 15 bottles.

Those in the Lakehurst area would need seven bottles, while people in Dover, Millville and Atlantic City would only need three bottles. Finally, residents of Wildwood would only need one bottle, according to Chris.

This has been one of the worst winters on record in many parts of the country, so Chris was bringing much light-hearted humor to a dreadful weather week. If you are living in a part of the country with record low temperatures, we would advise that you stay inside as much as possible.

Oh, and if you’re expecting snow anytime soon, be sure to stock up on wine!
