A simple cleaning hack is going viral this week that will leave your carpet spotless in seconds, and all it involves is a cheap glass cleaner!

This hack was started by Mrs. Hinch, whose real name Sophie Hinchliffe, but she’s known online to her 1.8 million Instagram followers as the queen of clean. She surprised everyone recently by insisting that a squeegee that is typically used to clean the glass of a car or a bathroom is actually perfect for cleaning carpets.

In an Instagram demonstration, she scraped the dry squeegee over her carpet, removing hair and dust in the process.

She then held up the squeegee to show all of the hair, dust, and lint that was picked up. Her fans could not believe how well this hack worked!

After trying this out themselves, fans shared their own results.

“This is my new mate! I keep looking at peoples’ carpets now and want to get it out to clean,” one contended fan wrote, with another adding, “I’m so shocked at this! I Squeegeed my stairs which I hoovered before this and look at how much fluff I brought up.”

Mrs. Hinch was happy to see how well her latest hack was working for all of her followers.

“Loving these pics! Squeegy your carpets Hinchers,” she wrote, going on to add that she was, “loving all the squeegy results – can’t beat it!”
