Cheryl Johnson was on a late night shopping trip to Walmart with her husband Mel when they found something unexpected as they pulled their cart out of the stack.

The Ohio couple was at a Walmart located in Wadsworth, Ohio when the shocking incident happened.

Mel felt pain in his hand as soon as he pulled the cart out, and when he looked down, he saw a razor sticking out of his hand.

Someone had personally placed a razor on the car so that someone would get stabbed with it! Cheryl and Mel immediately called the police, as they did not want this to happen to anyone else.

As they waited for police to arrive, Walmart employees checked all of the other carts for razors, and thankfully, there weren’t any others on the carts.

Police have two theories about the razor. The first is that it was a prank, and the second is that the razors could be there to help customers steal from retailers.

Shoplifters can actually use razors to cut security tags and remain unnoticed by security cameras.

The thieves would typically remove the blade or place it backward so it doesn’t harm anyone, but other shoplifters are unthinking offenders who don’t care about the well-being of others.

This is more of a common problem that you would think, as other people have been stabbed by razors in this way as well. Cheryl and Mel are just grateful that the razors did not cause more damage.
