Rescue workers at the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England were surprised when they recently came upon a newborn pony who had collapsed from dehydration. The rescuers could not find the pony’s mother anywhere, so they brought the baby back to their equine sanctuary and nursed him back to help, naming him Breeze.

Though Breeze’s health improved in a week, he was still very depressed. Staffers at the facility gave him a giant teddy bear to try and make him feel better, and they were shocked when he started treating the stuffed animal as a surrogate mom!

Breeze would often cuddle up in the teddy bear’s lap, as he felt safe there. The bear brought him great comfort, much to the joy of his rescuers.

One month later, Breeze was doing much better! He had grown into an active and friendly horse who loves playing in open fields. He also has a mischievous side, with one staffer saying that he loves picking up stones and sticks, which the workers would have to take out of his mouth.

Though Breeze had a difficult start in life, he has not let this hold him back from being a kind and happy animal. His story serves as a reminder that no matter what struggles we go through in life, we can always come back from them!

The video about Breeze below has quickly gone viral, being viewed over three million times by people all over the globe. Check out the video for yourself below!
