The video opens with Sam sitting down at the piano to play a jazz song as his black and white cat looks on. A few seconds in, the cat puts his paws on the keys and gets in on the action himself.

Sam proceeds to teach the cat how to press the keys and make music with him. The cat follows his instruction perfectly and seems excited to show the world his skills on the piano!

“In this video we are working on improvising duets,” Sam said. “I try to teach with very positive reinforcement. He’s still a beginner, but he’s very passionate and purrs a lot whenever he sits down to play.”
