It’s always touching to see a child meet their newborn sibling for the first time. Depending on how young the child is at the time, his or her reaction to meeting their new little brother or sister can be nothing short of adorable.

This week, a video is going viral showing a 4 year-old boy named Kent, who suffers from Down syndrome, meet his new baby brother for the very first time. It’s clear right away that Kent is very excited to meet his new brother, and the video’s description states that he “had been waiting so long for this moment.”

The video opens with Kent wearing a “Big Brother” shirt as he walks down the hallway with a gift in his hand and a huge smile on his face. As soon as he enters the hospital room, his face lights up when he sees his new brother Noah. As his father lifted him up so he could get a better look, Kent’s reaction is magical!

When his mother holds out Noah so Kent can see him closer, the little boy pauses before giving the baby a little kiss. The parents then let Kent hold the baby, and he claps his hands in excitement before he’s given the infant. It’s obvious that he is definitely up to the task of being a big brother!

“In March of 2017 We welcomed our Sweet Noah!” the YouTube description reads. “My Grandson Kent, who is 4 yrs. old and also has Down Syndrome, had been waiting so long for this moment, so excited to meet his Little Brother! Kent is going to be the best big brother. He is the most loving boy in the world. He really loves everyone… whenever he enters or leaves a room he has to hug everyone in it :)”

“Although Kent is pretty much still nonverbal, he is trying and knows a little sign language, He is very smart and understands so much it blows me away,” his grandma continued. “I can’t wait to see the bond my Beautiful Grandsons develop. I’m sure they will truly be best friends. Kent’s reaction to seeing his little brother for the first time is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in my entire life… just priceless! True Love!”

“This, I’m certain, is just the beginning of the lives and hearts he will touch with love and kindness throughout his life. God has truly sent an angel to us all,” she concluded. We now have 2 Angels! Noah & Kent.”
