It’s been nine years since Jackie Evancho stole the hearts of the American people when she came in second on the fifth season of “America’s Got Talent.” In the years since then, Jackie has become a full-fledged star who has performed all over the globe.

Nine years after appearing on the show in 2010, Jackie took the stage once again to perform on “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” and she certainly did not disappoint!

Since there was only one Golden Buzzer remaining, Jackie knew that she had to bring her A-game. That’s why she chose to sing the song “Music Of The Night” from the classic musical “The Phantom Of The Opera.”

All four judges had already used their Golden Buzzer for the season, which left host Terry Crews as the only one with a Golden Buzzer. Everyone wondered whether 18 year-old Jackie would be able to do enough to win Terry over.

This week, Jackie found herself competing against nine other performers, including season 13 AGT winner and magician, Shin Lim. Though Shin is very talented at what he does, many felt that Jackie outshined him with her magical voice!

The crowd went viral as Jackie effortlessly hit all of the high notes of the extremely difficult song. Even the notoriously difficult to please Simon Cowell looked blown away by Jackie’s talent. When she finished her song, Simon told her that she was a true champion who had managed to avoid the pitfalls that many child stars fall into.

Though Jackie did not end up progressing to the next round, it’s clear that her star will only rise in the years to come. Check out her performance below!
