An incredible figure skating routine has just resurfaced, and it’s touching the hearts of people all over the globe.

The video below this story was shot in 2010 at the Los Angeles Showcase in Burbank, California, and it features skater Taryn Jurgensen performing to the song “Hallelujah” by Alexandra Burke. Taryn’s emotional take on the song is something that is truly beautiful to witness!

Taryn has been skating since she was a little girl, and this video makes it clear that her hard work has most certainly paid off. As soon as the music started to play, the audience could tell that they were in for a major treat. Taryn did not disappoint them with her amazing moves!

Nearly a decade later, the routine is just as powerful now as it was at the time.

“Taryn, I watch this video of you frequently,” one social media user commented. “Your elegance, grace and skill are so inspiring. I started skating at 59 and hold onto the dream that sometime, in this life, I will be able to skate half as beautifully as you. Your choice of music, costume and choreography is most beautiful. Thank you!”

“Thank you so much for your beautiful comment!” Taryn herself replied. “For me it has always been about the passion I feel for skating and I can see you feel the same way too. Keep it up!”

“I love your skating and performance! Its been long since you update a new skating video of yourself. Any new ones coming up soon?” another social media user commented.

“Thanks for watching, no, I’m in medical school now but I will try to upload a video from a few years ago soon!” Taryn replied.

Check out her performance for yourself below!
