Prince William is currently second in line for the throne, and it will likely be many years before he is crowned king. Despite this, many are already wondering what his popular wife Kate Middleton’s title will be when he finally ascends the throne. Now, the title that she will have has finally been revealed!

William’s full current title is His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, Baron Carrickfergus, Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter.

When William’s father Prince Charles ascends the throne, he will then become Prince of Wales, which means that Kate will have the title of Princess of Wales. This will likely be especially meaningful to her, as it was the title once held by William’s mother, Princess Diana.

When William eventually does become king, Kate’s title will be upgraded to Her Majesty Queen Consort Catherine VI. Once that happens, their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will become the Princes and Princess of Wales.

When George eventually becomes king, Kate will likely use the title Her Majesty Queen Catherine, the Queen Mother.

It will be interesting to see the changes that will come for this family in the future, but we’re positive that regardless of what happens, Kate will be a great queen!
