A video is going viral this week showing a soldier be reunited with his dog at an airport in Oregon. At first, the dog did not quite recognize his owner since it had been so long and the soldier had grown a beard in the time that they were apart. That’s why the dog was a bit cautious at first when they came face to face at the airport.

After a few seconds, the dog finally recognized his owner’s scent, and he reacted by pouncing and licking him all over! It’s clear from his reaction that he missed his owner dearly while the soldier was away serving his country. What a nice welcome for him to come home to!
