Dogs are known as man’s best friend because of the incredible amount of loyalty and love that they show to humans.

Cesur is one dog who loved his owner very much. His owner was Mehmet Ilhan, a 77 year-old man who adopted Cesur to give him some companionship. The two were inseparable for two wonderful years until tragedy struck.

Mehmet got sick and spent several days in the hospital in Turkey’s Bursa Province, causing Cesur to become so upset that he stopped eating. Sadly, Mehmet passed away last month, and Cesur led his funeral procession. The dog refused to leave his owner’s coffin during the entire service.

Mehmet’s son Ali took Cesur in, but the dog could not get over his beloved owner’s death. In the weeks after the funeral, Ali noticed that Cesur was going off by himself a lot. Though Cesur would always come back to Ali, he still wondered where the dog was going, so he decided to follow him one day. When Ali followed Cesur, he realized that the dog was going to the graveyard.

Staffers at the cemetery said that Cesur goes to Mehmet’s grave every morning to pay his respects to the owner he loved and lost.

This shows just how loyal dogs can be. Even though his owner is no longer alive, Cesur has no intention of leaving his side. There really is nothing like the love dogs have for their humans! We just hope that Cesur will be able to overcome his grief and find peace soon.
