Fans of the 1980s television show “The Golden Girls” are excited right now after it was revealed that a Golden Girls cruise will be setting sail in 2020!

The “Golden Girls At Sea” cruise will last five nights and will included activities themed around the show, including a karaoke night, trivia about the sitcom, crafting, and a bar crawl. There will be a costume contest for lookalikes of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia, and there will even be a “One Night in St. Olaf Dance Party” as well as Dorothy’s Bingo.

The cruise will be held onboard a Celebrity Infinity vessel that can house 2,170 people. The cruise will set sail from Miami, Florida on Feb. 24, 2020, and it will make stops in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Packages for this trip start at $986.69 for an OceanView cabin (based on double occupancy) and go up to $1181.69 for an Aqua Class Deluxe Oceanview Balcony (based on double occupancy).

“The Golden Girls” was an iconic sitcom that ran from 1985-1992 and starred Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty. The show followed the lives of four older ladies living together in Miami, Florida, and it still puts smiles on the faces of fans to this day. Sadly, White is the only member of the main cast who is still alive, and there’s no word yet on whether she is planning to make an appearance on the cruise!

This cruise is such a fun idea for anyone who ever loved “The Golden Girls.” I don’t know about you, but this is a cruise I definitely need to look into!
