Any cat owner knows that felines have feisty personalities, and they don’t take kindly to someone messing with their stuff. Now, a hilarious video is going viral showing a cat have the perfect reaction when her owner pretends to eat from her food bowl.

The video opens with the man putting his cat’s food bowl in front of himself, rather than his pet. He then bends over to “eat” from the bowl himself, leaving the cat confused at first. The cat proceeded to glare at her owner, thinking that he is enjoying the meal that was meant for her.

Seconds later, the cat reached out with her paw and did something that has the entire internet in stitches.

Time magazine have said that despite what happens in this video, cats really do love humans more than food!

“Cats may have a reputation of being standoffish creatures who show their owners affection merely to fill their tummies,” the publication states. “However, a new study carried out by scientists from Oregon State University has determined that felines actually prefer human social interaction to food, making them no less loving than their canine counterparts.”

This means that humans have the same type of loving relationships with cats as they do with dogs, even if cats aren’t as openly affectionate as their canine peers.
