A bus driver recently broke the rules and went above and beyond to help stray dogs in a thunderstorm.

A massive thunderstorm recently hit Buenos Aires, Argentina, leaving everyone trying to take cover. A bus driver was at work driving his bus when he saw two stray dogs soaking wet on the side of the road. Though animals are not allowed on busses in this city, the driver knew he had to give the dogs shelter.

The bus driver was not about to leave these homeless dogs out in the rain suffering. Passengers were so touched by what he did that they snapped photos of the dogs, and they quickly went viral. The passengers even asked if anyone would be willing to adopt the dogs so that they could find them homes.

People all over the globe have hailed the bus driver as a hero. He earned so much praise that city officials released a statement saying that even though having animals on busses is against the rules, they applaud the driver for what he did.

This serves as a reminder that sometimes, doing the right thing means having to break the rules. We’re certainly glad that the driver did that in this situation!
