The sitcom “The Big Bang Theory” has been one of the most popular shows on television over the past twelve years, which is why so many fans were devastated to learn that this season would be the show’s last.

Kaley Cuoco and her fellow stars of the show have admitted that they have cried thinking about the show ending, and that filming the final episodes has been difficult for them. They’ve become a family over the years, and that’s why they decided to mark the filming of the show’s last episode with a tradition that they have loved doing for many years.

After filming on February 12, the cast including Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg surprised their studio audience by performing a flash mob to the Backstreet Boys’ 1999 hit, “Larger Than Life.” Sadly, Johnny Galecki had to sit this one out because of a hurt ankle, but Cuoco assured everyone that “he was cheering us on from the sides!”

Surprise dances have been a tradition on this show for years, and this one was particularly special since it was their last one. Cuoco explained that they had spent months practicing the choreography, and that they chose the song “Larger than Life” in particular because it’s a “song that thanks the fans.”

Choco had written on Instagram earlier in the day during rehearsals that this “Might be one of my favorite moments in 12 years. I told you we would go out with a bang!!”

Fans loved the performance, and we’re sure you will too! Check it out below.
