An adorable video is going viral this week showing a man helping out a koala on a hot day.

Shot in Adelaide, Australia, the video shows the man holding the koala’s hand as he helps her drink from a Mount Franklin water bottle. The koala can be seen holding onto the man’s hand tightly as she drank from the bottle on the record-breaking hot day.

Temperatures reached a scorching 46.6C in Adelaide on the day this video was shot, leaving humans and animals trying to hydrate as much as possible.

“My heart melts …my very own Koala Rescuer,” the video was captioned.

It’s evident in the video that this precious koala needed to quench its thirst as he reaches his paws out towards the water bottle. Social media users can’t get enough of the heartwarming video.

“Oh how beautiful. And that’s why I leave water bowls everywhere. The Koala is holding his hand, god love him,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “Just beautiful, thank you to this kind hearted person.”

“So touching I love how the koala reaches for his hand,” a third user added.

We applaud this man for taking the time to help out a koala who needed it. The world would be a much better place if we all took the time to help others who need it, whether they are humans or animals. It’s clear from this video that this man is one caring guy who makes helping others a priority in his life.
