In bizarre news, Amanda Teague is an Irish Jack Sparrow impersonator who made headlines when she married a 300 year-old ghost in a ceremony in early 2018. The 45 year-old married the ghost in a ceremony, which she made sure was legal by having it held on a boat in international waters off the coast of Ireland. A medium was hired to take part in the ceremony, which was carried out by a shaman priest.

This week, Amanda made the announcement that she is divorcing her pirate ghost husband Jack.

“So, I feel it’s time to let everyone know that my marriage is over,” said Amanda, who is a mother of five children. “I will explain all in due course but for now all I want to say is be VERY careful when dabbling in spirituality, it’s not something to mess with.”

Amanda had previously said that she met the ghost, who she often described as her “soulmate” back in 2014 when she saw him standing beside her bed.

“He is dark-skinned and has jet-black hair, so he tells me,” she explained. “I told him I wasn’t really cool with having casual sex with a spirit and I wanted us to make a proper commitment to each other. I wanted the big traditional wedding with the white dress. It was very important to me.”

This week, Amanda finally revealed what led to the breakdown of their relationship.

“I wish I never got married to him. I wish I was that healthy person that I was before I met him,” she said. “Jack has turned what was a beautiful and loving relationship to something that is ugly.”

Amanda went on to say that she started experiencing a series of health issues as soon as she married Jack, which led her to conclude that he was “stealing or draining” her energy and “using [her] for his own selfish intentions.”
